Asking prices for prime properties in London jumped 4 per cent in the last month as sellers looked to cash in on banker bonuses.<br/><br/>Property site Rightmove reported a 21 per cent jump in the number of people looking to sell their home in February, which is traditionally bonus month in the city. Rightmove says the biggest jump has been in the "elite market," the most expensive homes.<br/><br/>The average asking price is now £430,680 in the city, compared to £230,030 in the rest of the country, where asking prices were unchanged from a year ago.<br/>
