Lionel Richie has arrived in Dubai.
The legendary 80s crooner touched down in the UAE yesterday to rest up before his performance at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Thursday night.
The 64-year-old will be belting out four decades worth of hits covering pop, funk and R&B. Vintage fans who disliked Richie’s progression to the slick sound of his 1980s hits shouldn’t fret — a healthy smattering of Commodores songs are part of the set-list including Brick House, Fancy Dancer and Three Times a Lady.
Doors open at 7pm with Richie expected to take the stage at 9pm.
Tickets begin from Dh350 from www.timeouttickets.com
