Jeremiah and The Lucky Stripes hit The Fridge stage on Monday.

The Dubai funk rock group continue their ascendancy after supporting Macy Gray earlier this year. Their growing fan-base allowed them hit the studio recently with a debut album to be released  next year. Speaking before the gig, frontman Jeremiah John said the group's live experience is "bustling music with influences ranging from powerhouse rock to Indian and Hindustani influences, pop and funk."

Jeremiah and The Lucky Stripes plays at The Fridge on Monday. Alserkal Avenue, Unit 5, Al Quoz 1, Street 8, Dubai. Doors open at 7:30 pm, music starts at 8pm. Tickets are Dh50 per person. Dh25 for students and free for those under 18 years of age. For more information go to: www.thefridgedubai.com
