Hrithik Roshan has arrived for the International Indian Films Awards weekend in Spain and has already begun interacting with fans who have come from all over the world to meet the Bollywood star.
Roshan, who will next be seen in the adventure-romance film Mohenjo Daro, set in the era of the Indus Valley Civilisation, will be performing on the awards night on Saturday.
During his meet and greet session with the press in Madrid on Thursday night, the actor said he has been practicing tirelessly for his performance. “I have been taking my kids to the rehearsals, as well,” says Roshan who has two sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
The actor says he loves the city and also speaks a little bit of Spanish. “I used to be able to converse in Spanish,” he says.
Roshan’s 2011 hit Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was filmed in various locations in Spain. It is estimated that the success of the movie created a boost of 32 per cent of tourism from India to Spain in the following year.
“I love the shops here, especially the grocery stores,” says the 42-year-old actor. “I tend to buy a lot of fun food that my kids and I enjoy binging at night.”
