If you wondered where Hollywood’s A-list celebrities had gone during President Donald Trump’s inauguration, you didn’t have to wonder any longer on Saturday, when scores of them showed up at huge women’s marches in Washington and other cities to send the new president a pointed message that he was in for a fight - and that, as so many signs said, women’s rights are human rights. Madonna, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, Cher, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Emma Watson, Amy Schumer, Jake Gyllenhaal and feminist leader Gloria Steinem were just some of those at the march in Washington, where officials said the crowd could number more than half a million. In New York, Helen Mirren, Cynthia Nixon and Whoopi Goldberg joined a crowd of protesters marching to Trump’s home at Trump Tower. In Park City, Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival was underway, TV host Chelsea Handler was joined by Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart and more. In Los Angeles, Miley Cyrus, Jamie Lee Curtis, Demi Lovato and Jane Fonda were among tens of thousands protesting. * AP <strong>Ginger spice gives birth to new baby Spice</strong> Former Spice Girl Geri Horner (nee Halliwell), aka Ginger Spice, has announced that she has welcomed a baby with her husband Christian Horner. Love you all.” * IANS <strong>Bieber not a Weeknd fan</strong> Justin Bieber has revealed he is not a fan of The Weeknd, aka Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, his ex Selina Gomez’s latest love interest. Bieber was asked by a photographer in West Hollywood at the weekend if he listened to the singer’s work: “Hell no, I can’t listen to a Weeknd song,” Bieber replied, as seen in a video posted on TMZ Saturday. “That s--t’s whack.” The Weeknd has not responded. The video was posted days after he and Gomez went public with their romance when they were photographed kissing outside a restaurant in Los Angeles. She and Bieber dated on and off for three years before calling it quits in 2014. He has not commented on her relationship with Tesfaye, which is believed to be in its early stages. * Staff <strong>James Marsden tipped for Green Lantern role</strong> James Marsden is reportedly being eyed by DC Comics to star in <em>Green Lantern Corps</em>. An insider said that Marsden is included in the shortlist of actors being considered to play Hal Jordan, one out of two Green Lanterns, in the upcoming movie, reports <a href="http://www.aceshowbiz.com">aceshowbiz.com</a> "I've heard one more name, too," the insider said about Marsden's potential casting. "Ever since 'Westworld', Marsden has been pretty hot around here. They've discussed him for Hal as well," the insider added. Previously, there were reports about possible shortlist of actors who may play Hal Jordan. The list included names such as Tom Cruise, Jake Gyllenhaal, Armie Hammer, Bradley Cooper, Joel McHale and Ryan Reynolds - who had played the character in the 2011 film <em>Green Lantern</em>. While the company is busy trying to find the perfect actor to play the part, the other Green Lantern, John Stewart, will be played by Sterling K. Brown. Unlike the previous adaptation<em> Green Lantern</em> which focused more on Hal Jordan, the upcoming movie is expected to focus on the Corps, the intergalactic police force formed to protect different sectors of the universe. <em>Green Lantern Corps </em>is scheduled for a July 24, 2020 release in the US. * IANS <strong>J-Lo ‘head over heels’ for Drake</strong> Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is said to be “head over heels” in love with rapper Drake, who is 17 years younger to her. Lopez, 47, and Drake, 30, started dating late last year. “She’s head over heels for Drake. It’s a new relationship, but she really likes him. She’s really into him,” a source told etonline.com. The couple first sparked romance rumours in December 2016 after Drake visited Lopez at her Las Vegas show. They were spotted enjoying a dinner in Hollywood just before Christmas, and celebrated New Year together in Las Vegas. Lopez had earlier revealed they have been in the studio recording new music together. Asked about her new project with Drake, she had said: “He just asked me to do a song with him and that’s what we’ve been doing. We’ll see if it’s on his next album.” * IANS
