Happy Box, the creators of educational activities for children, have teamed up with Emirati artists and social experts to run workshops on art and the state of poverty around the world for Girl Guides of Sharjah, on Saturday.

The discussion on poverty will be led by socio-economic policy specialist Anisa Al Sharif, who will talk about lack of access and their role in giving back to society.

The talk will be followed by a workshop on Middle Eastern art with artists Muna Al Ali and Wafa Ibrahim, who will be assisting the students in creating their own Middle Eastern-inspired artwork.

Happy Box and the students will also gift special activity boxes to 30 disadvantaged children after the session.
