Of all the entries for Zabeel Park, my favorite is still Al-Hakawati (The Storyteller) from . Why not bring back the colossal human sculptures? They continue to impress many years down the road (like the Statue of Liberty). Who wouldn't go to Rhodes if the was still there, one foot on either side of the harbor, rising more than 10 stories tall? Still, the design that was picked - the " " - is pretty cool, too. Al-Hakawati would actually have movable joints allowing it to "move its arms and hands, tilt its head slightly, open and shut its eyes and mouth". In the base would be a Children's library and the statue would be full of differently themed rooms, including a golden nightclub in the statue's head. See more at the Golden Brain.
