Eight songs Sunidhi Chauhan might sing at her Abu Dhabi concert on Friday

Sunidhi Chauhan, 31, got her first break at the age of 16. She now has hundreds of songs in multiple languages under her belt and is easily one of the most-wanted playback singers in Bollywood. She has lent her voice to dozens of actresses, such as Urmila Matondkar, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The singer has multiple chart toppers to her name, but there are only so many she can perform, so here's our fantasy playlist for her Summer Season concert at Emirates Palace on Friday (see our review in Sunday's edition of Arts&Life).
Bhaage Re Mann This soulful melodious number from the Kareena Kapoor film Chameli (2004) is one the singer's self-confessed favourites.
Sheila Ki Jawaani Probably the only good thing about that flop Tees Maar Khan (2010), a lot of people fessed up to going to watch the film only for the song, which is sensual and upbeat - it is sure to get the crowd in the mood for the evening.
Munni Badnaam Hui This upbeat number from Dabanng (2010) had Mallika Arora Khan gyrating with her brother-in-law Salman Khan.
Te Amo One of the more popular romantic songs to come out of Bollywood in recent times, its success can easily be credited to Chauhan's rendition of it. It featured in Dum Maaro Dum (2011).
Bin TereOriginally a duet with Shafqat Amanat Ali for I Hate Luv Storys (2010), this is another soft romantic song. The unplugged version is fantastic, showcasing Chauhan's ability to make any song her own.
Punjabi Wedding Song A foot-tapping number, it became popular at a lot of weddings that were scheduled soon after the movie, Hasee toh Phasee, (2014), came out. Since the singer usually starts out with songs to get her audience on their feet, this may be one of the first few she sings.
Kamli This item number from Dhoom 3 (2013) has the singer hitting the high notes with ease.
Desi Girl An absolute classic from the film Dostana (2008), this song single-handedly brought back the gold sari in fashion.
