Dubai’s Legoland Water Park is now open and has 20 waterslides and attractions

Legoland Water Park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts and the sister park to the recently-opened Legoland Theme Park, has opened its gates to the public.

The park, which is being touted as the Middle East’s only water park designed for families with children aged from 2 to 12 years, currently features 20 water slides and attractions.

Highlights include Build-A-Raft River, where families can customise their own raft using Lego soft bricks, before floating down a lazy river. Build-A-Boat invites children to build their boat model using countless Lego bricks before testing their design against the gentle flow of water in a 10-metre river, while Red Rush sees families ride together in a family-sized raft down a 95-metre-long curving track on an 3.3-metre half-pipe.

Other likely favourites include the Wave Pools, Joker Soaker water playground, an abundance of water slides, and the Duplo play area for younger kids.

Legoland Water Park, which is located next to the existing Legoland theme park, also offers a full range of amenities, including dining and retail outlets, changing rooms, cabanas, guest services, first aid and prayer rooms.

Water Park day tickets start from Dh205 for children and seniors and Dh240 for adults. Guests also have the option for two-park combo tickets for Dh350 children/395 adults. The annual two-park combo pass for Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park is priced at Dh995, with the annual pass for Legoland Dubai priced at Dh765. Visit www.legoland.ae
