Grammy award winning singer Drake and his record label crew Ovo, will be partying at People at Crystal ahead of his Dubai concert on March 14. The Canadian rapper, who is best known for his ballad style hits over hip hop beats, which include Started From The Bottom, Best I Ever Had, The Real Her and Take Care, will be making his Middle Eastern debut when he plays at Dubai International Stadium next week.
The party at the nightclub will feature the Ovo crew - Noah “40” Sherib, Oliver El-Khatib, Boi-1da, T-Minus, Mike Zombie along with recording artists PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, ILoveMakonnen and OB O’Brien.
Drake has sold five million albums and surpassed Jay-Z with number one singles on the Billboard charts.
He has penned hit songs for Alicia Keys and Rita Ora and he is also responsible for popularizing the term Yolo (You Only Live Once), which came from his song The Motto.
Currently he is touring New Zealand and Australia and after his one night in Dubai he will perform a headlining slot at the Coachella Festival in April, in addition to the new album Views From the 6 to be released later this year.
