Does Courteney Cox have a new beau?

Bethenny Frankel separates from her husband; Khloe Kardashian's Christmas worry; and Zoe Saldana adopts a puppy.

It looks as though Courteney Cox and Josh Hopkins, who play a married couple on the sitcom Cougar Town, have become a real-life item too. Cox, 48, was recently seen on set with Hopkins' arm around her as she protectively placed her hand on his chest. Cox has been seen spending time with Hopkins between the shoot of their show at Venice Beach in California. The actress was married to the actor David Arquette for 13 years before getting divorced in July this year. They have an 8-year-old daughter, Coco. * IANS

Bethenny Frankel and husband of two years separating

The TV personality, chef, author and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel said that the split from her husband Jason Hoppy brings her "great sadness". "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family," Frankel said. "We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter." Frankel, 42, and Hoppy were married in 2010 and have a daughter, Bryn, who was born that same year. Frankel first gained fame as a star of The Real Housewives of New York City. Since her stint on the Bravo show, she has starred in two reality TV series, written four books, released a fitness video and founded her Skinnygirl line of cocktails, shapewear and nutritional supplements. Kardashian's Christmas shopping worry

The reality TV star Khloe Kardashian hates Christmas shopping. She claims she often worries about forgetting a member of her large family while buying presents. "I dread Christmas shopping. I go nuts making sure I don't forget anyone. It can get crazy," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Kardashian as saying. She also revealed her husband Lamar Odom helps her get into the festive spirit and one of their favourite Christmas rituals is putting up their decorations. "Before Lamar, I never had a tree. I helped with my mum's. Now we decorate our house together. He loves it," she said. * IANS

Actress Zoe Saldana adopts a puppy

This Christmas, the actress Zoe Saldana, 34, has adopted a puppy. She rescued a scraggly white pooch from a shelter last week and introduced it to her fans on Twitter as Mugsy, posting an image of the wire-haired canine sitting in the passenger's seat of a car. She tweeted, "Meet Mugsy!!! Rescued her last week - my best friend named her. She's adorable and super smart." In other canine news, the actress Emma Stone has said she wants a new puppy for Christmas and was spotted looking in pet stores with her boyfriend, the Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield. They spent more than an hour browsing dogs in a shop called Spot but left empty-handed. * The National staff
