Superstar DJ Armin van Buuren is returning to the UAE.

Following closely in the footsteps of massive gigs from his compatriates Hardwell, Tiësto and Martin Garrix, the Dutch dance master will appear at Meydan on May 20.

The show is part of the 39-year-old’s Armin Only Embrace tour, which will kick off in Amsterdam on May 6.

The Dubai gig will mark van Buuren’s first visit to the UAE since becoming the first DJ to headline the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix After-Race Concerts in 2014.

The first half of this year has been an exciting time for dance-music fans in the Emirates, with international stars performing stadium-sized gigs just weeks apart.

On top of recent Meydan shows from Garrix and Hardwell, and Tiësto’s gig at Zero Gravity last Friday, David Guetta was in town for NYE, Steve Aoki headlined RedFest DXB and Avicii will perform at Dubai World Trade Centre on April 1.

That is seven of the top 10 names on DJ Mag’s 2015 chart – in less than six months.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, March 3, at www.arminonlydubai.com, or call 04 314 8222 for more details.
