It may have been released very recently, but the 3D dance film ABCD - Any Body Can Dance could be getting a sequel, with the director Remo D'Souza having landed a two-film contract with UTV Motion Pictures. "UTV has wholeheartedly backed my vision of making India's first ever 3D dance film, ABCD," said D'Souza. "I'm really excited that I have been offered two more films by UTV - one of which could be the sequel to ABCD." - IANS

Grammys issue wardrobe advisory

Grammy performers have been told to cover up at tonight's big music awards show. In a "wardrobe advisory", the CBS network also asked musicians and audience members to avoid wearing clothing with political or activist slogans. "Please be sure that [you] are adequately covered. Please avoid exposing bare flesh," said the memo issued by CBS. "Obscenity or partially seen obscenity on wardrobe is unacceptable for broadcast." Bala Pazhanisaamy's Tamil period-drama Paradesi has impressed the filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. "Just saw Bala's Paradesi. Absolutely blown by it. His best yet," tweeted the director after watching the film at a private screening. Based on the novel Red Tea by the English author Paul Harris Daniel, Paradesi is about the struggle of tea plantation workers in pre-independence India and stars Adharvaa Murall, Vedhika Kumar, Dhansika and Uma Riyaz Khan. Christina Applegate says she is bowing out of NBC's Up All Night. In a statement, the actress says the show has taken a "different creative direction" and that she has decided to move on to other projects.
