Charles Aznavour, the legendary French-Armenian singer known as "France's Frank Sinatra", will perform in February as part of Dubai Classics. His hits include She, Dance in the Old Fashioned Way and Que C'est Triste Venise.
One of France’s most popular singers and arguably the most famous Armenian of his time, Aznavour was named Entertainer of the Century by CNN. He began his career by opening for Édith Piaf at the Moulin Rouge. Now, at age 91, he has written more than 1,200 songs and sang in eight languages, with more than 180 million records sold.
