The release of the images, to coincide with the beginning of next week's World Cup in South Africa, bring together three legends of soccer: Diego Maradona from Argentina, France's Zinedine Zidane and Pelé from Brazil.

Talk about a fantasy football team. But the footballing greats, all of whom have won the World Cup and worn the iconic number 10 shirt, were pitted against one another. They met in the Café Maravillas in Madrid for a game of table football and Zidane took on Pelé in the final. Leibovitz's photographs capture the atmosphere of fun and rivalry. In the background, a Louis Vuitton Pégase cabin case is personalised with Zidane's initials and a Keepall sits on a nearby stool. The match was a draw.
