Cast of Special 26 in Dubai for film premiere

Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Kajjal Aggarwal will be in Dubai to promote their new Bollywood film.

The stars of the Bollywood film Special 26 will be in town tonight for the movie's premiere.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is based on the true story of a group of con men from the 1980s who pulled off a series of robberies posing as government officials. In 1987, 26 men posing as income tax officials did a clean sweep of a famous Mumbai jewellery store. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal along with Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai and Jimmy Shergill.

Known for their quirky promotional tours, Dream Advertising has organised "an invasion of a jewellery store" event in keeping with the theme of the film. A red carpet event will precede the movie premiere tonight at Grand Cineplex in Dubai, where fans will get to see the film's stars in person, and maybe even walk away with photographs and autographs. After the movie screening, the stars will attend a cosy dinner with a lucky few VIPs and fans.
