Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars will face off in a friendly poker match on Saturday, with all proceeds going to America’s biggest hunger-relief charity. Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, Jason Bateman, Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire and Adam Levine are among the A-list names to take part in the tournament, which members of the public can also join and compete in via Twitch. Announcing the news on Instagram, Affleck said, “Excited to announce that I have joined forces with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organisation, to raise money for folks who need it most. Join me and some familiar faces (including Tom Brady, Bryan Cranston, Adam Levine, Sarah Silverman , Cheryl Hines, Tobey Maguire, Jon Hamm & Jason Bateman) as we face off in a friendly poker tournament.” The tournament will kick off at 11am pacific time (10pm UAE time) on Saturday, April 11, and is open to 75 participants, although observers will also get a chance to interact with the famous faces. Already, more than $1 million dollars (Dh3.67 million) has been raised for Feeding America, Affleck said.
