The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is officially sold out, but if you've got the cash to splash, there's still time to book a spot on the famed Amber Lounge Yacht, which is making its Abu Dhabi debut this weekend. Travelling to the UAE from its home in Monaco, the luxurious 40m, triple-deck yacht, which features a rooftop Jacuzzi, will play host to a well-heeled set who will experience the grand prix in decadent surroundings. With an unparallelled view of the race track, guests will enjoy gourmet lunch and dinner with a French twist, catered by Abu Dhabi's own Monte-Carlo Beach Club on Saadiyat Island, the opportunity to ask questions of the F1 drivers Felipe Massa (Ferrari) and Jerome D'Ambrosio (Lotus Renault), and the ex-F1 driver and commentator David Coulthard, plus access to the ultra-chic Amber Lounge after-race party at Yas Marina on Friday night. Monte-Carlo Beach Club's chef Chef Gavin Gleeson said: “We’ve been preparing for weeks to create the ultimate menu for guests aboard the yacht – and with racing legend Felipe Massa on board we have been pulling out all the stops to create mouth-watering and memorable dishes.” Bill Loveday, the general manager at Monte-Carlo Beach Club, added: “Monaco has long been affiliated with the prestigious F1 racing, so it is only right that Amber Lounge chose us to cater for their luxury yacht for the event.” Tickets are US$4,950 (Dh18,180) per person for the complete two-day package.
