All the buzz about Bigg Boss season 9

Ahead of this week's big reveal of the contestants who will be appearing on season nine of Bigg Boss, India's version of Celebrity Big Brother, we have a round-up of all the latest news and gossip about the reality-TV show.
The host
Bollywood star Salman Khan, who is back presenting the show for a fifth time, is reportedly being paid 60 million rupees (Dh3m) per episode. Indian media had been speculating about whether he would return, especially after his comments last year about being tired of the show.
The contestants
The list of hopefuls is a closely guarded secret until the big announcement, but rumours have been flying for months. Names thrown around include (failed) Bollywood actor, and Ranbir Kapoor's cousin, Arman Jain; Sunil Grover of Comedy Nights with Kapil fame; Splitsvilla 2 runner-up Mohit Malhotra; television actors Mahi Vij, Mayur Verma, Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera; activist Nakshatra Bagwe; Salman Khan lookalike Najeem Khan; model Arshi Khan; godwoman Radhe Maa, godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh (commonly known as MSG); and actress Sana Saeed.
The theme
Since this is the ninth season, the producers have focused on "navarasa" - or the nine emotions: love, laughter, compassion, anger, courage, terror, disgust, surprise and peace - which might have something to do with the kids of tasks that the contestants will be expected to perform.
Trivia
There are no fewer than 80 cameras in the house this year, so nothing will go unnoticed.

Top financial tips for graduates

Araminta Robertson, of the Financially Mint blog, shares her financial advice for university leavers:

1. Build digital or technical skills: After graduation, people can find it extremely hard to find jobs. From programming to digital marketing, your early twenties are for building skills. Future employers will want people with tech skills.

2. Side hustle: At 16, I lived in a village and started teaching online, as well as doing work as a virtual assistant and marketer. There are six skills you can use online: translation; teaching; programming; digital marketing; design and writing. If you master two, you’ll always be able to make money.

3. Networking: Knowing how to make connections is extremely useful. Use LinkedIn to find people who have the job you want, connect and ask to meet for coffee. Ask how they did it and if they know anyone who can help you. I secured quite a few clients this way.

4. Pay yourself first: The minute you receive any income, put about 15 per cent aside into a savings account you won’t touch, to go towards your emergency fund or to start investing. I do 20 per cent. It helped me start saving immediately.
