There might have been something lost in translation, but it appeared that any jokes the South Korean delegation from Masquerade told the audience before the film's screening in Emirates Palace last night weren't relayed in English. Whatever it was lead man Lee Byung-Hun and director Choo Chang-min said on stage in Korean had the - mostly Korean - audience in stitches, with screams of laughter coming from all corners of the auditorium. Then, up stepped the cheery translator.
"Thank you for inviting us to Abu Dhabi. We're delighted to be here."
Um? Really?
