Bafta TV Craft Awards: 'Chernobyl', 'Peaky Blinders' and Aisling Bea among winners

The craft awards celebrate the people behind the scenes in TV

Ahead of the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards on July 31, the winners of the Bafta TV Craft Awards were announced in a virtual ceremony on July 17.

The entertainment organisation's Television Craft Awards celebrate the talent behind the scenes, from costume, hair and make-up, to editing, direction and sound design.

Chernobyl was the major winner, picking up seven awards for costume design, best director in fiction, original music, sound, production design, photography and lighting, and editing.

Irish comic Aisling Bea won the Breakthrough Talent award for series This Way Up, which she both wrote and starred in.
