Ahead of the Virgin Media<a href="https://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/television/chernobyl-tops-bafta-awards-list-with-14-nominations-1.1029086"> British Academy Television Awards</a> on July 31, the winners of the Bafta TV Craft Awards were announced in a virtual ceremony on July 17. The entertainment organisation's Television Craft Awards celebrate the talent behind the scenes, from costume, hair and make-up, to editing, direction and sound design. <em>Chernobyl </em>was the major winner, picking up seven awards for costume design, best director in fiction, original music, sound, production design, photography and lighting, and editing.
