Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X and Cardi B are among the most listened to artists in Dubai today, according to a new playlist by Apple Music. The playlist lists the city’s top 25 tracks and is updated every day. It was released on Wednesday as part of a collection of daily playlists dubbed City Charts. More than 100 cities now have their very own playlists within the music streaming app, including Tokyo, Paris, Auckland, London, Manila, Istanbul, Nairobi, Johannesburg and Seoul. Crowning Dubai's playlist is Peaches, a mellow head-bobber by Bieber that also features Daniel Caesar and Giveon. The track is followed by Lil Nas X's Montero and Astronaut In The Ocean by Masked Wolf. Other notable tracks to make the top 25 include Levitating by Dua Lipa, Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak and Silk Sonic, as well as The Business by Tiesto. The City Charts playlists were released to coincide with the launch of iOS 14.5, seen as one of the biggest updates of the current OS since it launched in September 2020. Some of the other features in the update include the App Tracking Transparency, which requires app developers to get user permission to enable Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) that is commonly used to track user activity between many apps. Apple has also released several new emojis with the update. These include new face and heart emojis, as well as a woman with a beard emoji. It has also enabled users to select the skin colour for each figure in emojis that feature couples. Besides several bug fixes, the update has also added support for the newly-unveiled AirTags, Apple's geolocation tool.
