President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have pulled together a star-studded line-up for their inauguration concert. Ahead of the Celebrating America event, which will be broadcast on Wednesday at 8.30pm ET (5.30am, Thursday, January 21 GST), a host of A-list names have started to flock to the US capital. Here, we round up the stars in town to perform at the inauguration concert: Wearing a white coat, a white mask and her hair pinned up in plaits, Lady Gaga shared a prayer from inside the United States Capitol. "I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans. A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear," the Edge of Glory singer wrote. "A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol." Gaga is set to perform the US national anthem at Biden's inauguration. John Legend will also be performing at the inauguration, and is in Washington with his model wife, Chrissy Teigen. Teigen posted a photo with National Guard troops, writing on Instagram: "We got lost on the way to soundcheck but stumbled across these literal heroes!" The model has been criticised for attending the inauguration with her husband, when people around the US have been asked to stay home. One commenter questioned why their "whole family" has been able to attend the virtual celebration "when literally no one can move about the city". Teigen has responded to criticism, writing: "Why are you guys always always mad at me, all I wanna do is make you happy or at least leave you with a neutral feeling of indifference ... this is not my fault but I'm sorry you're frustrated. I just like to share what we are up to and whatnot." Also in town to perform is Jennifer Lopez, who posed outside the Capitol with her "inauguration squad", which includes a manicurist, make-up artist, her hair stylist, Chris Appleton, and stylist, Rob Zangardi. Also in tow is her personal trainer, digital team and singer Stevie Mackey, who she is currently collaborating with. Earlier in the day, she posed for a selfie with National Guard troops. She captioned a video of herself taking a photo with the troops: "What an honour to spend a few moments with these brave men and women. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I honour you today and everyday. Tomorrow I sing for you and all Americans." _______________ Read more: Joe Biden’s inauguration: the full list of stars performing Joe Biden picks Obama-era State Department team All the first ladies of the United States: From Martha Washington to Melania Trump _______________
