Filipino stars Bamboo Manalac and Barbie Almalbis are coming to Dubai for a free concert. The duo will perform at Dragon Mart 2 on October 12 at 7.30pm. Bamboo is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter who has also been dubbed the "Prince of Rock" by his fans. He rose to fame as the lead singer of Rivermaya but he later went on to pursue a solo career after releasing his first solo album <em>No Water, No Moon</em>. He's no stranger to the UAE as he's performed numerous times in the Emirates over the years. Barbie was the lead singer of Hung Young Poets and Barbie's Cradle and began pursuing a solo career in 2005.
