Colombian Grammy winner Maluma to perform in Dubai in February 2020

The '11pm' star will bring his world tour to the UAE for the very first time

If you've not yet made any plans for next year's Valentine's Day, there's a new option for the evening.

Colombian superstar Maluma is bringing his world tour to the UAE for one night only, marking his debut performance in the Emirates.

The No Se Me Quita singer will perform at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, February 14, with tickets on sale today from 11.11am, to coincide with the name of his 11.11 world tour.

The 25-year-old, born Juan Luis Londono Arias and raised in the city of Medellin, released his first album at the tender age of 17, though found fame with his 2015 album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy.

He has gone on to collaborate with some of the Latin music industry's biggest names, including Ricky Martin and Shakira, as well as Madonna and J Balvin.

Maluma's last three albums, including his most recent, 11.11, have all have debuted at number one on Billboard's Latin Albums Chart, and in 2018, the singer won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album.

He's also something on a social media star, with 23 million Facebook fans, 46 million Instagram followers and more than nine billion views on YouTube.

Maluma's Dubai show promises to be a spectacle, say concert organisers, with fans set to be treated to "lasers, audiovisual effects and pyrotechnics", as well as 12 dancers on stage.

After his performance in the UAE, Maluma's tour will take him to Turkey, as well as various cities across Europe, including Oslo, Munich and London.

Maluma will perform at the Coca-Cola Arena at 8pm on Friday, February 14. Tickets will be released on Monday, November 11, more information at www.coca-cola-arena.com.
