Shaggy and Lucenzo at Beach Feast

The Abu Dhabi Food Festival adds a touch of club and reggae vibes to this year's edition with Beach Feast. Held on Friday and Saturday at the picturesque Yas Beach, music and food will come together with a headline concert by Jamaican-star Shaggy on Friday followed by a smooth reggae and dancehall DJ set on Saturday by Lucenzo. Derrick May at Groove on The Grass

Fresh from celebrating its five-year anniversary, the monthly home grown music festival returns to the Emirates Golf Club with a line-up led Derrick May. The 54 year-old US DJ is a pioneer when it comes to dance music will be bringing those Detroit techno sounds to a receptive and nostalgic audience. Friday from 7pm. Uberhaus presents Seth Troxler and Louis

Adventurous beats will be heard on Thursday night with the latest edition of the Uberhaus DJ series. Headlining the latest edition is the DJ and producer Seth Troxler who will showcase his wide pallet of sounds ranging from techno and house to minimal electronica. He will be joined by fellow US spinner Louis whose sets are an unabashed celebration of all things disco. Thursday from 8pm. Tickets are Dh180 from platinumlist.net
