BTS member Kim Taehyung, more commonly known as V, is reportedly getting a special message displayed on the Burj Khalifa in honour of his upcoming 25th birthday on December 30. The news was announced by a Chinese fan club called Baidu Vbar, which claimed they have raised $1 million for projects to celebrate the K-pop star’s birthday and one of the gestures would be getting his name and face on the Burj Khalifa. The three-minute show is expected to feature an LED light and sound show on the facade of the building, as well as a water performance at The Dubai Fountain, both set to his track Winter Bear. The event is scheduled to take place at 6.50pm on Tuesday, December 29. After the news was announced, the hashtag #TaehyungonBurjKhalifa began trending on Twitter. “After a long period of application, finalisation, review and modification, thanks to Taehyung’s global top reputation, influence and positive personal image, we are very honoured to obtain the opportunity making the world’s first K-pop individual artist to print on the Burj Khalifa with a stunning three-minute sound and light show,” Baidu Vbar said in a statement.
