Legendary hard rock band <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts/review-guns-n-roses-put-on-euphoric-knockout-juggernaut-of-a-show-in-dubai-1.34483" target="_blank">Guns N’ Roses</a> have announced that they are bringing their 2025 world tour to Abu Dhabi. Taking the stage at the <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/2024/10/26/etihad-arena-abu-dhabi/" target="_blank">Etihad Arena</a> on <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/2024/10/23/yas-bay-guide-abu-dhabi-bua-thai-bushra-daikan/" target="_blank">Yas Island </a>on May 27, the band will be returning nearly two years after their last sold-out performance in the UAE capital. The world tour and their stop in the UAE will give fans the opportunity to witness the influential band perform some of their biggest hits including, <i>Sweet Child O’ Mine</i>, <i>Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door</i>, <i>Welcome To The Jungle</i> and<i> November Rain. </i>The last song listed has surpassed over two billion views on YouTube, making it one of the most viewed rock videos of all time. Formed in 1985, the band have enjoyed international success since the release of their debut album <i>Appetite for Destruction</i> in 1987. Across their six albums, they have fused punk rock, blues rock, hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal and created some chart=topping hits that have defined an era. With total album sales of 100 million units so far, their catalogue also includes <i>G N’ R Lies </i>and <i>Greatest Hits, </i>both of<i> </i>which went five times platinum. <i>The Spaghetti Incident?</i> and <i>Chinese Democracy</i> also went platinum. Guns N’ Roses are also one of the most-streamed rock bands in the world with an average of 24 million monthly listeners on <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/future/2024/02/13/ai-spotify/" target="_blank">Spotify</a> and over 10.26 billion total streams across their tracks, beating out <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/music/2022/04/29/nirvana-song-charts-for-the-first-time-31-years-after-its-release-thanks-to-the-batman/" target="_blank">Nirvana</a>, <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/music-stage/2023/02/22/five-times-the-beatles-and-the-rolling-stones-collaborated-together/" target="_blank">The Rolling Stones</a> and <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/music/2022/02/07/kings-of-leon-to-perform-at-bahrains-al-dana-amphitheatre-next-month/" target="_blank">Kings of Leon</a>.
