International travel may have been limited around the world in recent months but like many of us, one Hollywood star is day-dreaming about her previous travels. And the trip in question happens to have been to our very shores. The Princess Bride actress Robin Wright posted a photo from a visit to the UAE on her Instagram account this week. "Remembering my time in Abu Dhabi with my Pour Les Femmes family," the American star captioned the image. "What a great experience." The photos shows Wright, 54, inside one of the capital's most recognisable landmarks, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The House of Cards actress is wearing a maroon hooded tunic in the selfie, with the mosque's distinctive green carpet in the background. Wright's visit flew under the radar at the time. It appears the actress made a trip to the UAE with her clothing brand Pour Les Femmes, a lounge and sleepwear label founded by the star and designer Karen Fowler in 2014. Pieces from the slow-fashion brand are created by women in the Congo, with proceeds helping to fund programmes that support female artisans. According to Fowler's Instagram account, she and long-time friend Wright visited the UAE in April 2019. "Thank you Dubai! It’s been a wonderful experience, the designer captioned an image of the two, with the Royal Atlantis hotel glimpsed in the background. The same image was shared on the Pour Les Femmes Instagram page, adding: "We’ve had the best trip exploring the city and can’t wait to visit again." The pair also spent time at One&Only The Palm, the luxury hotel on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, with Fowler sharing a shot taken from an outdoor terrace. "Warm nights in Dubai," she captioned the photo. An additional shot shared on the Pour Les Femmes account shows Wright relaxing on the beach at the One&Only Royal Mirage, wearing a linen short dress from the brand. "Happy Birthday to our co-owner. Thank you for all that you do for our world," the post read. The actress's birthday falls on April 8. _____________ Read more: Bella Hadid urges fans to donate to Middle Eastern families in need Meryl, Cate and Lupita: Taika Waititi assembles all-star cast for children's book reading 'It's about expressing how you feel': Dubai henna artist's modern spin on the traditional design _____________
