Do you know your Iron Man facts from your Captain America trivia? And your Hulk tidbits from your Black Widow details? Then you might be able to crack a new online quiz. And your host? Spider-Man himself. Tom Holland held a virtual pub quiz on Instagram on Wednesday, April 29, pulling together a series of Marvel-themed questions to try and catch out fans of the comic-book giant's cinematic series. The British actor, 23, created the Massive Marvel Pub Quiz in a bid to raise funds for The Brothers Trust, a charitable organisation founded by Holland's parents. “The Brothers Trust is a fundraising vehicle that we use to raise money from the general public, that we feed towards charities that we feel need the light and the support," Holland told Jimmy Kimmel this week in a video interview, ahead of the trivia challenge. “The reason why we’re doing the pub quiz is just to galvanise people and to give people a sense of community and to kind of bring people together and just have a laugh and have a good time. That’s essentially what we’re trying to do.” Holland kicked off proceedings from his home, attracting more than 200,000 fans to his live stream. "The first thing I ever bought for my house was a series of Marvel mugs, because I’m a fan," he said, clutching an Iron Man mug, as the quiz got under way "I was a real fan of Marvel before I even got cast as Spider-Man, so it was a real dream come true for me." Holland then went on to put viewers' knowledge to the test, with questions such as "How many Iron Man suits did Tony Stark create?", "What is the diameter of Captain America's shield?" and "When exiled to Earth, where did Thor land?" Holland also chatted with fans via video link while going through the answers, and was joined by his brother, Harry, and friend Harrison Osterfield for part of the broadcast. The actor, who has also starred in films such as The Impossible, has uploaded the full 70-minute quiz to his Instagram page, so fans can play along long after the live stream ended. "We had so much fun tonight. Thank you to everyone who turned into our pub quiz. I hope you all had fun and had a little escape from this craziness. Love you all," he wrote on his social media page. Holland is set to return as Spider-Man in the Homecoming trilogy's third film, though filming has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film is expected to be released in November 2021.
