Race 3, the latest in the popular Hindi franchise starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor, has completed its Mumbai shoot and is expected to head next to Abu Dhabi, with a possible stop in Bangkok along the way, according to Bollywood sources. The Abu Dhabi shoot is expected to be completed by the end of March ahead of an Eid 2018 release. Director Remi D’Souza announced the completion of the Mumbai schedule via a Twitter post stating “It’s a wrap. # Mumbai” Khan was most recently in Abu Dhabi last summer (2017) to shoot the action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai, the emirate's longest movie shoot to date at 65 days. The local shoot featured an international supporting crew of around 300. Khan said following that experience: "I want to come back for my next film and then the other one." It appears his wish has been granted. Khan reportedly returned to Abu Dhabi after shooting the final frames of Tiger Zinda Hai in Greece to meet up with Race 3 director D'Souza, who was in town preparing for the forthcoming shoot. He will now return for shooting proper in the coming days. The third part of the Race series has been hotly anticipated ever since Khan's name was announced in a bid to take the franchise to new heights of success. Director Remo even delayed the finale of his reality show Dance Champions, to accommodate the schedule of the movie, which also sees Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprising their roles as RD and Ranvir Singh respectively. _______________ Read more: _______________
