After being hit with a couple of blows following celebrities cancellations, next weekend's Middle East Film & Comic Con has been boosted by the appearance of Ezra Miller and Jenna Coleman. Miller, best-known for his role as Barry Allen AKA The Flash in the DC Universe, and Coleman, who played Doctor Who's companion Clara Oswald, will go a long way in quelling the disappointment of Dr Who's Karen Gillan and Game of Thrones' Carice van Houten pulling out of the Dubai convention in the past week. Gillan blamed a "scheduling conflict" for her cancellation, while Van Houten cancelled a string of ComicCon events amid rumours of her joining up with the rest of GoT crew to film in Northern Ireland. Miller joins celebrity guests includes Kristian Nairn, aka Hodor from Game of Thrones, Stranger Things' Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler in the hit Netflix teen sci-fi, and the one and only Karl Urban, the man behind the helmet of Judge Dredd as well as Leonard 'Bones' McCoy in Star Trek. MEFCC takes place from April 5-7.
