What will happen in The Matrix 4? Can you show me around your house? Are you really Hollywood's nicest star? These are just some of the questions one lucky fan could soon be asking Keanu Reeves, as the John Wick star proves the answer to the latter query is a resounding yes. The Beirut-born star is auctioning off a one-to-one Zoom call to the highest bidder, in a bid to raise funds for a children's cancer charity. The Speed actor, 55, has offered up a 15-minute video chat as part of Camp Rainbow Gold's fundraising drive. "Bill & Ted. Speed. The Matrix. John Wick. You know him. You love him," the event listing reads. "This is truly priceless and now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home!" Bidding, which started at $10,000 (Dh36,729), had reached $18,500 as of Thursday morning, with the auction set to close on Monday June 22 at 12pm MDT (10pm UAE time). That tally currently works out at $1,233 a minute to speak to the star. The winner will get to spend 15 minutes with Reeves, with the call set to take place in the week beginning Monday, July 6. The only restrictions are that the call must take place that week, and the chat can be cancelled in the event of "threatening or inappropriate behaviour". All proceeds raised from the auction will go directly to the US organisation, a charity which provides "emotionally empowering" experiences to children living in Idaho that have been diagnosed with cancer. Reeves, who is set to reprise his role as rebel hacker Neo in the fourth instalment of the Matrix franchise, due to be released in 2022, is not the only celebrity that has donated experiences to the charity drive. Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke will perform a 15-minute private concert for the highest bidder, while singer-songwriter Andy Grammer has offered up a signed guitar.
