Check out this super cool timelapse video released today by Barjeel Art Foundation.

Sharjah Timelapse 2014 is a showcase of the historical yet dynamic emirate that was also this year’s Islamic Capital of Culture.

Covering locations in both the old town and along the Corniche and newer areas including Al Qasba with the Eye of the Emirates, Sharjah’s famous ferris wheel in full view, the video embraces the cultural ambience of the city.

Set to Fayrouz, a track exclusively written by Marwan Anwer, and photographed by Eric Hines, it is a refreshing look at the emirate that so many people associate only with bad traffic and dust.
