Do you want your children to learn all about the world of art auctions? Why not sign them up for Christie’s Middle East’s first ever family day?
The event is designed for kids and their parents to experience an art filled day of learning. The children will take part in an art treasure hunt, meet an artist in his studio, examine works of art under UV-light and listen to the experts talk. After all these activities, families will be asked to write their own catalogue text, create their own works of art and before the end of the day, each child can take the stand on Christie’s rostrum, pretend to be an auctioneer and take a selfie.
The event will be held at Christie’s pre-sale exhibition space in the Godolphin Ballroom of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers on October 15 from 3.30-6pm.
