Sarah Feyling is a wedding planner and the managing director of Couture Events in Dubai Media City. If home is where the heart is, then I want to make my home in the south of France. One of my favourite restaurants for lunch is Les Remparts in the La Chevre d'Or Hotel. Located between Nice and Monaco in the picturesque village of Eze, this restaurant is a tiny slice of gastronomic heaven. The superb menu is only overshadowed by the setting. I am a novice skier at best. Four- year-old children pass me when I'm out on the slopes. However, I do enjoy skiing in Lech, and the gourmet refuge Frozen, should be a mandatory part of any adult beginner's lesson. Whether I am in Bangkok for business or pleasure, I always make a point of going to the Sirocco restaurant in State Tower. It is outdoors and located on the 63rd floor, which makes the views of Bangkok spectacular. A golden dome dominates the background, which is further highlighted by the incredible live jazz band. I thoroughly enjoyed Eau by Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio Hotel (www.bellagio.com, [phone]).

Monaco, playground of the rich and famous, is renowned for being a costly destination. However, the Columbus Hotel is exceptional value for its rates. It isn't the Hotel de Paris, but it certainly denotes what Monte Carlo is famous for: luxury, glamour and plenty of celebrities. (@email:www.columbushotels.com, [phone]). I can only describe this place as a temple of relaxation. I lived in Sicily before coming to Dubai and Taormina is still one of my favourite places in the world. Think of a shop that resembles iconic Hollywood glamour, stocked with just about everything you want and even does its gift wrapping better than Harrods at Christmas. For me, it's Les True Follies in Portofino, Italy. The store is home to the most exquisite girlie gifts that I have ever seen.
