Invited to Italy as Christo’s special guests, a group of UAE-based students and their academic mentors were among the hundreds of thousands of visitors who made the journey to Lake Iseo to experience the artist’s latest installation, The Floating Piers. The group were finalists in the 2016 Christo & Jeanne-Claude Award, an annual arts prize for UAE students.
