The deadline for the Abu Dhabi Art Wings Project is fast approaching so if you’re interested get your submissions in now.
For those who don’t know, the Wings Project is the competition for Emirati artists to design the wing or bracket-shaped design that will then be used across of all of Abu Dhabi Art merchadise and collateral.
Now in its fifth year, the Wings Project will highlight six winners ahead of the capital’s art fair in November.
“The Wings Project has become synonymous with the Abu Dhabi Art programme and provides encouragement to young artists and designers as well as supporting the local art community,” says Alanood Al Hammadi, Senior Exhibitor Relations, Abu Dhabi Art. “This project was devised to illustrate the talent that is plentiful throughout the UAE, and introduce young Emirati artist and designers to the art world, and the vast opportunities that are available.”
Submissions are now open for artistic impressions based around the wing of the Abu Dhabi Art logo. Deadline for applications is 30 August, 2014. For additional information and project guidelines, please visit the website.
