Let’s face it. Teeny-weeny cross-body bags, complete with chain straps and quilted exteriors, are undeniably cute, but unfortunately, aren’t very practical for the average working woman.
American fashion and accessories label Tory Burch, has just unveiled a design that’s as aesthetically appealing as it is practical. The brand’s new T Satchel bag, which launched in stores this month, features a classic silhouette that can be carried three different ways: by the bag’s top handle, slung on the forearm, or cross-body style, using the detachable long strap. The founder, designer and chief executive of the eponymous brand, Tory Burch recommends that customers style it with a knotted scarf tied onto the top handle.
“The T Satchel has clean lines and a structured silhouette; it is fresh and modern, but also timeless. I love it with a colourful scarf – incredibly chic,” says Burch.
The T Satchel handbags are available at Tory Burch stores now, and they cost Dh2,400 each.
