The producers of A Grain of Sand, the in-production documentary about the folk music traditions of Emirati pearl divers, have a six-day window from September 28 before shooting on the doc restarts in October.
To fill in the gap, they’re looking for any interested organisations or societies who may be interested in inviting producer and presenter Jason Carter to put on a short musical performance and screen an early version of the film. The team have already staged one such successful show for the American Women’s Group in Abu Dhabi and are hoping to reach out to more community groups later this month.
