Peter Copping's resort 2017 collection for Oscar de la Renta contains some festive offerings perfectly suited to December's holiday party schedule. The pieces are feminine but powerful, and silhouettes structured and loosely fitted.

Pieces are, overall, versatile and can be easily transitioned from autumn to winter, and spring to summer. Separates crafted from tweed serve as great corporate wear, and can just as easily be worn to a Saturday brunch. Hues of turquoise and emerald green run through the collection in eye-catching patterns — an oversized leopard print in green and black jacquard, for instance, covers a slim-fit jacket that can be worn over a dress in the evening, or over a monochrome trouser ensemble to the office.

The collection is inspired by textiles found in the Oscar de la Renta archives. The pieces will appeal to a range of customers — from older individuals who opt for matching dress-and-cardigan outfits, to younger consumers who seek out eclectic print pairings and colourful embellishments.
