The Resort 2016 collection from Oscar de la Renta is now available for pre-order from Moda Operandi. The collection - curated by the newly appointed creative director Peter Copping - is both modern and fresh, while remaining "classically Oscar".
This season, Copping offers a new take on the traditional skirt suit. Cropped blazers with ruffled lapels and flounce hemlines or cardigans are paired with pencil skirts, in different fabrics and textures. Colour pallets are vibrant, featuring marigold and hibiscus mixed with watercolour and mikado prints.
The collection's evening wear, featuring a similar pallet to the daywear, is a clear nod to classic de la Renta. Available this season are taffeta gowns with high-low hemlines and cocktail dresses constructed with flowing backs.
Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2016 collection is available for pre-order from Moda Operandi until July 2.
