We're reporting live from <a href="http://www.kennethcole.com">Kenneth Cole</a>'s presentation at the Garage, a new space next to the designer's headquarters in Chelsea. "Does your point of view depend on your points of view?" said the show's invitation, which, curiously, came in the form of an 8in x 6in mirror. Was Cole going through an introspection of sorts? Is he asking us to? Or is he bringing politics into the picture, after he tweeted on Thursday about the possible attack on Syria by the United States: <a href="https://twitter.com/KennethCole/status/375673368462102528">"'Boots on the ground' or not, let's not forget about sandals, pumps and loafers. #Footwear"</a> - a post that instantly garnered derision online. Thankfully, there was no talk of politics in his show, which surprised for being unsurprising. There was, however, leather. Lots of it. The highlight were the shorts. The leather T-shirt was a stand-out, but we can't imagine Cole bringing this piece to his conservative store racks. A good look, nonetheless. Our favourite look is the tailored bomber jacket with leather sleeve detailing. And the backpack-briefcase on this dapper dude.
