A new film, Prince of Fashion, by French actor-turned-director Jalil Lespert focuses on the life of legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

Set throughout 20 years of the designer’s life between 1956 and 1976- from his days at Dior then at his own label.

Saint Laurent is played by 24-year-old actor Pierre Niney, a handsome newcomer on the French film scene.

Many fashion films have popped up in the past few years, and this is one of the few that made it onto our must-watch list.
