Quinton de Kock sped away and JP Duminy controlled the middle overs to send Delhi Daredevils to 187 for five, before rain washed the game out.

Sunrisers Hyderabad 113-9 in 20 overs (Lokesh Rahul 25, Dale Steyn 19; Mitchell McClenaghan 3-16) lost to Mumbai Indians 114-1 in 13.5 overs (Parthiv Patel 51 no, Lendl Simmons 48; Karn Sharma 1-38).

An unbeaten 50 from Parthiv Patel led the way to victory for the Mumbai Indians in the winners-take-all clash after some woeful batting from the Sunrisers. The win means Mumbai finish second and Hyderabad are out.
