The UAE won seven medals, three gold and four bronze in the Under-20 Arab Chess Championships that concluded on Saturday in Amman.
Amna Noaman, Wadeema Al Kalbani and Ibrahim Sultan won gold.
The UAE national team finished third, winning a bronze in team competition.
The competition began on September 14 and was attended by 152 competitors from around the Arab world.
It is the most prestigious chess competition in the region.
