Aveda hair and body products to come to Dubai

Although the UAE is increasingly becoming home to a wide assortment of brands, one I've been waiting for throughout eight long years is Aveda - and it's finally happening.

Hiring has already begun for an Aveda shop, which will open in Dubai in early May, representatives of Al Tayer Group, which is bringing in the brand, have confirmed.

Whenever my luggage is overweight upon returning from Canada, I can be sure three tubes of Dh84 Madder Root Conditioner having something to with it. And I’ve long pined for a cup of their Comforting Tea, an unbelievably delicious fennel-based brew that could turn the darkest of February days in Ottawa right around.

Founded in 1978 in Blaine, Minnesota, the Estee Lauder Companies-owned Aveda might be one of the most established “green” hair and body care lines to launch in the UAE since Kiehl’s. With the tag line The Art and Science of Pure Flower and Plant Essences, they are devoted to using naturally derived ingredients – their products are paraben and sulphate-free - and do not outsource their testing, retaining more control of the entire process.
