ABU DHABI // A promotional film about Abu Dhabi was granted a Cannes Film Festival award.
The 12-minute short, called ‘Abu Dhabi: The Capital’, showcases the emirate’s rapid development over the last two generations.
“We seek to utilize media content to shed light on the tremendous amount of work being deployed in Abu Dhabi, as we strive to reflect the progress accomplished by the Emirate at various levels, to keep with the aspirations of our wise leadership at promoting Abu Dhabi to prestigious rankings,” said Mansoor Al Mansoori, Director of the Office of Government Communications, who attended the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards.
