ABU DHABI // Engineering students at UAE University presented their graduation projects over two days on January 14 and 15.
A total of 271 students presented 73 design projects for their integrative design course.
Dr Nabil Bastaki, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, said the course provides practical training for future engineers. Students are encouraged to create solutions and designs in areas of strategic importance to the UAE.
Students are offered internships for 270 hours with UAEU’s partners, where they are given an opportunity to put their creativity to work and enhance their chances of getting employment offers from these companies, he said.
