ABU DHABI // Deaths on Abu Dhabi roads fell by 11.1 per cent in 2011, according to statistics released by the Abu Dhabi Police.
The number of road fatalities in Abu Dhabi was 334 in 2011, from 376 the year before.
The number of pedestrian deaths per 100,000 decreased by 21 per cent in 2011.
The 2011 traffic plan included 12 traffic awareness programmes in which police spoke to 331 schools across in the emirate and organised over 30 traffic exhibitions.
